How does a vintage shirt fit? Will it fit the same as a regular shirt?

We recommend every customer take measurements of their favorite shirt. We use:

  • Chest measurements
  • and Length measurments

To determine measurements, please refer to the picture on the Sizing Chart page on the website. All clothing measurements will be provided in the product description. Pants will have "inseam" and "waist" measurements, while shorts will have "length" and "width" measurements.

Please look at the measurements and details of the items you wish to purchase. Over time shirts have been stretched, shrunk, etc. Details are included for you to purchase the item that will fit to your liking! Remember, all sales are finals.

Do you have this shirt in other sizes?

We typically only stock one unit, of one particular size, of these items. Rarely will we receive multiple units and/or sizes of a garment. If by any chance we do, they tend to be Deadstock (new, unworn) items.

How long will it take to ship my order?

It takes about 3-5 business days to process and ship out orders. For information on shipping time, please refer to the "How long will it take to receive my package?" section below.

Am I able to cancel my order?

No, you are not able to cancel an order at this time. All sales are final.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Refunds are for orders that we make mistakes on (see question below). About 3-5 business days from when the refund was issued. We send refund confirmations via e-mail, but if you didn't receive one, contact us and we'll send you the details.

Can I return items I bought?

Unfortunately we do not accept returns. Although, there are some occasions when we do:

1. If there was a mistake in the item description (measurements were wrong, etc.).

2. If you received the wrong item.

If you have any concerns about the items you ordered, please contact us.

The items I bought don't fit me. Can I return them, or exchange them for a different item?

Unfortunately that is not possible. We take time to add measurements to all garments and purposely disabled "Quick Purchase" capabilities because we want our customers to understand the details of the items they are purchasing.

Are y'all buying?

We would absolutely love to buy from you.

If you are local to Ann Arbor, we recommend coming to the store. We offer 50% in in-store credit or 25% in cash for the value of your items

If you are not local, either fill our our selling form or send us an email (universityvintagestore@gmail.com) with pictures of your items.

How long will it take to receive my package?

It all depends on the shipping method you choose. Priority is typically faster, and more reliable. Note that shipping on First Class Packages and Priority Mail Regular has been delayed due to COVID-19.  For now, we only ship USPS, so please visit their website FAQ for status updates and how they are handling packages during COVID-19.

What if my order was not delivered?

We send out all our packages with tracking. If the tracking on your order states that it was delivered, but you have not received your package, please contact us and we will contact USPS. USPS will then physically geo-locate the address where the package was delivered.

Currently, USPS is not accepting international deliveries to several countries. Please refer to this link for more information.
